Sleep Study: Initial Office Visit

Office visits are scheduled during regular daytime hours and typically last about one hour. During your visit, you will complete initial questionnaires that are reviewed with you by our board-certified sleep physicians. You may also be asked to bring recent test results or office notes from your referring physician, if available.

During the initial consultation, the history of your sleep concerns will be discussed in detail to help our specialists better understand your symptoms. In many cases, it is helpful for your spouse or bed partner to attend the visit, as they can provide additional insight into sleep behaviors such as snoring or breathing interruptions. Based on this evaluation, potential causes of your sleep difficulties will be reviewed, and sleep testing will be scheduled if clinically indicated.
